Yes, there are tons of topics that need attention, such as the race-baiting lies coming out of Ferguson, Propagandist media, the White House and Sharpton's & Crumps' falsifying-"facts"-for-fending-focus-from-felonious attack.  Obama and the Progressive Democrats have set back race relations in the U.S. by 50 years.  Yes, Socialists as Domestic Enemies continue to be the biggest threat (on a hundred Alinsky-ish fronts) to America and her allies.
Yes, the Progressives are doing what may be the worst possible job in respect to the huge and growing ISIS ("ISIL" is a term that assumes ownership of everything from Cypress, through Israel and across Jordan) anti-humanity cult.
Yes, the economy has improved; perhaps one year's worth over the last 5.75 years under the Keynesian, Socialist, anti-American, unconstitutional head-in-sand DNC/Progs.

Sophosarchaeus will continue to gather and share facts as time permits.  Meanwhile, everyone else should do the same: find responsible sources of fact, arrange them to explain issues from beginning to end, and then share the story with as wide a circle as they can: FB posts (Twitter tweets tend to be too truncated to educate well) outside the familiar circle of Conservative friends, email replies, letters to editors, polite interruptions to conversations to set facts straight, etc.

"Experts", when paid for certain findings, will find them.

Some local papers increasingly waste space and insult readers' intelligence with junk “news” like the Cronkite News regurgitation (4-6-14) on “climate change [man made]” and wildfire.  So sad to see more newspapers sinking into “mainstream media”, irrelevance, like the useless rags in most bigger cities. [IMHO, it is this plunge into mindless cloacum, as much as the influence of the Internet, that causes readership to plummet and makes formerly free services like graduation and Eagle announcements and even obituaries cost hundreds of dollars to get published; they are otherwise losing money and must profit from these.]

This fable insists that ‘CO2 kills trees', contributing to wildfires.  This requires volcanic concentrations in the soil, not parts-per-billion atmospheric fluctuations.  Trees (all photosynthetic plants) ‘inhale’ CO2 and ‘exhale’ Oxygen, so this assertion is about as sensible as decreeing that the O2 carried by Hospitals, paramedics and COPD patients is ‘deadly to humans’. Further, the minute ripples in CO2 over recent decades are dwarfed by earlier eras, with no relationship to human activity (i.e., often more growth, less CO2 and/or, more CO2, less warmth).

There are some fanciful pictures with the piece, though; much like other fairy stories.  A thermograph (limited, to avoid inconvenient levels of earlier history) suggests that the hot-spot Hell-hole of the entire American West is …wait for it… from Prescott to Flagstaff! Forget those 'mild' Phoenix and Palm Springs climes.  For you Arizona denizens, do you remember the last 3 winters, before this year’s el Nino?

Another Case in point, the Arizona Daily Sun (Flagstaff) recently decided that 'consensus based upon magazine article observation, CGI (cartoon) footage of glacier calving, disproven "math" based upon forcible "bending" of curves, and closely cropped photos excluding most of a celebration of Polar Bears overrides actual observation of facts [see: http://azdailysun.com/news/opinion/editors-column/between-the-lines-it-s-not-censorship-by-ignoring-those/article_38f02d94-eee1-11e3-8b0b-0019bb2963f4.html].  Thus, there is simply no longer any room for the printing of articles or reader comments, unless they kowtow to the Global Warming fraud's agreement policy. Or, as another demonstrably Left-of-reality and gleefully mindless rag (the Daily Kos) puts it, "there IS NO opposing viewpoint."

 
On the plus side for those that missed it in 2009, a line-graph with the Cronkite News article does show a classic example of the ‘hockey stick’. This conspiratorial math-skewing device pushes actual (or imagined) observations upward toward a desired (not factual) end point.  It was exposed in 1,079 leaked, East Anglia University emails, expressly coordinating suppression of actual science and expounding of Leftist “consensus” (as if physical facts can be ‘voted’ into changing by shouting down or ridiculing other data). Obama’s U.S.P.S. concocted these particular images, since N.O.A.A. no longerplays such games.

The 4-6 “Wizard of Id” comic strip also deals with manufactured “news” and has funny pictures; but it’s in the comics and doesn't demand that a growing majority of intelligent people abandon reality.

But, we now see that when either of the ugly faces of 'truth' or 'fact' is raised, the Left simply bullies or censors their inconvenient realities under the rug.  After all, they interfere with the collection of funds and the aggregation of power.  How scientific!  How journalistic!

Left pretends that "business" loves Common Core brainwashing

 A "news release from Cronkite News” on Feb 22nd defended Federal “Common Core” schooling.  Moriah Costa wrote that "business leaders" (a single usurper in the Arizona Chamber of Commerce) prefer the fact-free, Social Justice indoctrination of future American workers to actual education.  That's because, they say, it will "help the State create a competitive workforce".  Remember, it is not among the enumerated powers to even comment on, let alone dictate education requirements to the sovereign States. That is an ever-growing (thanks to Bush, Clinton and [worst] Obama) violation on Jimmy Carter's hands [there is no "Federal education responsibility" Jimmy!].  And Leftist-based, revisionist systems [educational or economic] have always failed, everywhere they have been tried.  Only slave labor (such as China and NoKor still use) manages to stagger on in a third-rate fashion for a few decades after they exhaust the productive in their societies.  Detroit is an American mini-example:  once the industrial heart of America, but under "enlightened" Leftist/Democrat rule for decades, it is now an economic wasteland and most who can have fled the area.  By comparison, the years of Bush43 were really very prosperous (must be Clinton's fault!)

"Cronkite News" [a revisionist, Propagandist training mill at Arizona State University] has also manufactured false impressions on other issues; they maligned border security, libeled voter integrity and misrepresented reducing debt, etc.  They don’t question Leftist infiltration of Chambers of Commerce and unionized, illegal, Federal strangulation of schools or Socialized 'education' overall.

Common Core itself, like “Hillary-ObamaCare”, has been in the Left’s playbook for many decades.  Unrepentant (as in, “I wish I had done more”) murderer Bill Ayers and his murderous wife Bernadine Dohrn used Communist Alinsky’s ‘clean up, look respectable’ model for their Annenberg Challenge in Chicago schoolsicagoschoolsCh. They recruited ‘community organizer’ Obama to “radicalize schools” in the 90’s.  Ayers boasted (parroting Lenin), “Give me just one generation of youth, and I'll transform the whole world.”  In 2012 Ayers claimed, “…absolute access" to the community, the school, the classroom.

Some features of Common Core, which Costa and Chamber of Commerce infiltrator Hamer claim will somehow produce better, more productive businesspeople:
- Teachers’ Edition requires explaining the [revisionist] term ‘fascist’ to students and instructing that “fascist is now applied to all right-wing groups.”

- Required reading Barack Obama (by Leftist Jane Sutcliff)  “…Americans weren’t ready for that much change.  …white voters would never vote for ablack president” and, “Barack’s former pastor called the country a failure. Godwould damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said.”

- 4^th grade worksheet: ‘…Government is your family and will take care of you’.  The illustration is of UncleSam holding a “citizen” like a baby.

-  4^th grade English teaches ‘Pimps’ and ‘Mobstaz’, because sexual gangster terms and Ebonics syntax and spelling will help in business.
- Possessive nouns worksheet deals exclusively with illegal Presidential powers and the need to "obey government".

- Teachers’ Edition decrees “4 x3 can equal 11” as long as future engineers or bankers rationalize their steps [it is only under this kind of rubbish that Socialist/Keynesian "economics" work - until they collapse at an average of 65 years].

- High School Literature worksheet: a woman intentionally deforms her unborn children to sell to freakshows after birth. Progressives’ heroic model of “womens’ rights”, standing up to ‘unfair norms’, right?
- The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are flawed and "being reviewed" in America; 'add, delete or rewrite a few rights' to see how easy it is.
- The Second Amendment is rewritten as "people have the right to certain weapons" [instead of "arms" - unrestricted] and only if they register them [instead of "shall not be infringed"].
Most of these outrages are only made public when shocked parents discover them in their childrens' homework; it is happening now.  Of course, Cronkite News and the rest of Obamedia never even acknowledge such disturbing FACTS.

Even Liberal CBS reports that Leftist Maryland teachers don’t approve.  They dislike C.C. “fuzzy math”; tortuousmethods replacing sensible ones and decreeing wrong answers as correct.  Also, ignoring fact and enforcing tests “rather than have kids explore the curiosity of learning.”

Productivity: Reality Sucks

Once again, the realities of keeping body and soul and house and family and together (i.e. earning a living) intercedes in the writing of even the wisest of old wisdom.  Even when there are literally dozens of usurpations, lies, crimes, distortions and scandals, one can only do one thing at a time.  And I refuse to post something that I cannot research to the point of being confident in its veracity.

Never fear, though: Sophosarchaeus will be back soon.

Meanwhile, old wisdom is still around - just keep your eyes open for truth, seek original sources and reputable people, then, SHARE THE TRUTH with everyone reasonable enough to converse honestly with you!  Be factual (reject hyperbole and internet fantasies).  Be calm. But be firm and refuse to be 'chased' out of the argument; remember that others are listening to or reading the conversation, so let the mindless Lefty be the ridiculous, fact-free, angry, hateful, un-trustworthy, shrieker.  You may never convince your adversary, but you WILL influence most of those that watch the discourse.  And try to spread your message beyond the usual circles.  Shed a little light into darker places where reality rarely gets a fair hearing.  Some people in even the most preposterously Leftist groups want to deal in truth.  State your case, announce that you will not waste everyone's time being talked in circles or distracted by bovine excretia, and excuse yourself from the honest listeners (ignore the toady altogether).
