WELCOME!
This blog consists mostly of common sense responses to happenings (news articles, political events, etc) that just cry out for someone to say "WHOA! Hang on a second, here!" Too many people get away with just inventing their own facts as they bull-rush their way through an argument.
Unless you're dodging a taxicab or sidestepping a falling gargoyle, it's usually wise to take what time is available to evaluate and apply actual common sense. Good, old wisdom. It is, of course, my opinion, but I'll try to show why I think it's factual.
Thomas Paine said, "To argue with someone who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead." ... but I argue with drunks, egomaniacs, anti-gun Statists, Socialist/Keynesians and climate-fraud peddlers, too.

Oh, REALLY?!?

We surround and outnumber  the Socialists.  Do not let them intimidate you!  Fly the flag!  Say the Pledge!  Sing the Star Spangled Banner out loud!



The United States of America, with all it's faults, is still the bulwark of freedom for the world.  We are feared only by the tyrants, thugs and charlatans that would enslave others, and the unfortunates that they lie to.  We have freed more oppressed peoples - at greater cost in blood;  freely given more disaster aid, charity and relief than any other country - and most of them combined; lead the way toward more freedom and equality around the globe, and been the greatest powerhouse of industry and prosperity (even for the "poor" with color TVs and cel phones) than any other country, despite 100 years of Socialist sabotage, in the history of the world.  Under God!

Election day is Tuesday, November 2nd.  DEFEND YOURSELF,  V O T E ! !
